History

CAC Professional Services began in 1986 in Grass Valley by Carol Calvert EA. Her daughter, Catherine Clow EA joined the firm in 1988. The business specialized in preparing individual tax returns, small business bookkeeping and payroll. Carol retired in 2010. CAC Professional Services continued in the Grass Valley location until the move to Auburn in December 2013. We continue to prepare individual and business tax returns, small business payroll, as well as client representation.

Staff Profiles

Catherine Clow, EA

Catherine joined the firm in April 1988. She passed the IRS enrollment exam in 1998. In 2000 she completed the National Association of Enrolled Agents NTPI representation program and received her “Fellow” designation. She continues to teach on the national level and in 2012 received the “Excellence in Education” award from NAEA. She enjoys the fact that she is able to continue the family business.

Cathy lives in Auburn, where her and her husband have raised three children and are currently the proud grandparents of two active grandchildren. They are fortunate to have their family close by where they can be involved in their activities. She is a member of Soroptimist International Historic Auburn. In her spare time she enjoys gardening and spending time with friends.
